In collaboration with the authors, the following corrections have been made in this Correction:
1. Reference [2] has been replaced with a more relevant citation:

3. Correspondingly, the following sentences have been revised for accuracy in this Correction:
In the Introduction section:
Original text: “With the continuous development of economy and transportation in China, fractures complicated with multiple injuries caused by falls from heights and traffic accidents are becoming more and more common [1, 2].”
Corrected text: “In China, traumatic fractures and thoracic injuries are commonly caused by falls and road traffic crashes, and rib fractures are frequently accompanied by associated injuries [1, 2].”
In the Methods section:
Original text: “Patients in the control group were examined and treated accordance to an internationally recognized systematic procedure Crash Plan [10], as follows: …”
Corrected text: “Patients in the control group underwent standard trauma assessment and treatment based on structured primary survey and resuscitation principles, including rapid evaluation of vital signs, establishment of intravenous access, bedside imaging when indicated, prompt hemorrhage control, continuous monitoring, and multidisciplinary management of associated injuries [10], as follows: …”
The remainder of the article remains unchanged.
The authors confirm that these corrections are limited to citation-level revisions in the Introduction and Methods sections and do not affect the scientific content, results, interpretations, or conclusions of the original study.
