Missing clinical trial registration information:
In the original publication [1] (DOI: 10.22514/sv.2023.097), post-publication review by the Editorial Office identified that the required statement of prospective trial registration was omitted. The study was not registered in a public trial registry prior to patient enrollment. This was an oversight that does not align with standard publication ethics and the journal’s policy.
To ensure transparency and correct the academic record, the authors have now completed retrospective registration of the trial.
Trial Registry: ClinicalTrials.gov.
Registration Number: NCT07418580.
Date of Retrospective Registration: 11 February 2026.
This correction applies solely to the registration status. The study design, methods, data, results, and conclusions presented in the published article remain entirely unchanged and unaffected by this administrative update.
The authors regret the omission and any inconvenience caused, and they remain committed to rigorous research reporting standards. This Correction has been approved by the Editor-in-Chief. The original article PDF remains available as published and has not been altered. Readers are advised to refer to this Correction for the clinical trial registration information.
