In the originally published article [1] (DOI: 10.22514/sv.2025.055), post-publication review identified that References [1], [14], and [23] did not fully support the statements in the Introduction, Discussion, and Conclusions sections.
In collaboration with the authors, the following corrections have been made in this Correction:
1. References [1], [14], and [23] have been replaced with the following more relevant citations:
2. A sentence in the Conclusions section has been revised for accuracy as follows:
Original text: “Previous studies have reported that the effect of propofol on myocardial repolarization is dose-dependent [22–24].”
Corrected text: “Previous studies have reported that the effect of propofol on myocardial repolarization is dose-dependent [22–24], although some studies have shown minimal overall impact on the QTc interval.”
The authors confirm that these corrections are limited to reference appropriateness and the clarification of the statements. They do not affect the study design, patient cohort, raw data, statistical analyses, results, tables, or the primary scientific conclusions of the article in any way.
The authors sincerely apologize for this oversight and any inconvenience caused. This Correction has been approved by the Editor-in-Chief. The original article PDF remains available as published and has not been altered. Readers are advised to refer to this Correction for the updated references and the revised text in the Conclusions section.
